Job Description

A growing Atlanta law firm seeks a Manager of Human Resources & Development to manage HR operations and new hire integration for the firm. Areas of focus include employee engagement, attorney and staff recruiting, and workforce management. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated history of working in a similar HR management role, ideally in a law or professional services firm. Candidates must have a solid understanding of HR best practices, processes, and regulations. This is a newly created role that requires strong initiative, law firm experience, and a professional demeanor.

Duties:

  • Partner with the Director of Recruiting to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including organizing orientation and training sessions.
  • Ensure new hires (attorney and staff) are integrated properly and have professional development opportunities.
  • Coordinate with practice group leaders to allocate proper support to each team, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient workflow processes are in place.
  • Monitor productivity and performance, providing feedback and support.
  • Support all HR functions of the firm.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in HR management, onboarding, integration, or professional development.
  • Law firm experience required.
  • Experience with hands-on recruiting and onboarding.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and analyze opportunities for process improvement and organizational development.
