Legal Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

An Atlanta law firm is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to assist the marketing team with firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives. The main focus of this role will be to increase the firm’s brand through targeted media efforts, sponsorships, events, and content creation. 

Duties:

  • Research, evaluate, and execute sponsorships, conferences, speaking opportunities, and events. 
  • Coordinate and manage group events, including trade shows, receptions, fundraisers, webinars and conferences
  • Manage budgets for assigned departments, including tracking expenses and ROI on efforts. 
  • Assist with editorial, creative, and production coordination services for projects including announcements, invitations, legal updates and articles, attorney biographies, and photo archives.
  • Assist with tracking and analyzing business development activities and industry best practices.
  • Handle industry, company, and geography-specific research projects to help identify business development opportunities and develop client target lists.
  • Update and maintain the firm’s marketing materials for assigned areas, including brochures, practice descriptions, lawyer biographies, websites, and experience lists.
  • Prepare submissions, and manage the submission process, for legal rankings, directories, etc. 
  • Schedule and actively participate/contribute to various business development and internal meetings.
  • Draft news items for the Firm's website and internal communications vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing or business administration.
  • Prior marketing experience in a non-profit is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role.
  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising and development.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using HTML email, InterAction and website CMS is ideal.
