Job Description

Connect Staffing is working with a prestigious, globally recognized law firm in Atlanta to fill an entry-level Administrative Assistant opening. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and task-oriented candidate to provide a blend of administrative support, reception work, and assistance with event planning and content creation. This full-time position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both office operations and marketing-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception & Office Support:
    • Greet and assist clients and visitors when onsite events and meetings are scheduled
    • Answer phone calls, manage office reservations, and ensure secure office access
    • Coordinate A/V setups for meetings and ensure conference rooms are prepared
  • Marketing & Event Assistance:
    • Assist in creating and managing content for office displays and events
    • Learn to use Canva and other marketing tools to help with basic content creation
    • Plan and coordinate firm events, such as holiday parties and outings by booking vendors and handling logistics
    • Help with sending invitations and managing RSVPs for meetings and events
  • General Administrative Duties:
    • Provide support with expenses, vendor invoices, and office operations tasks
    • Assist legal teams with overflow work, including time entry, document handling, and other special projects

Qualifications:

  • Critical Thinker & Efficient Problem Solver:
    • This role requires someone with strong critical thinking skills, who can handle multiple tasks with efficiency and find creative solutions when challenges arise.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 1-2 years of office experience, ideally handling administrative, clerical or high-level client service duties
    • Professional communication skills
    • Excellent tech skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new platforms
