Job Description

Connect Staffing seeks an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal a dynamic team and a large law firm. This paralegal will support attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including document prep, research, coordinating and preparing for closings, and communicating with clients and third parties. 

This client is a top 25 law firm in Atlanta with an extensive list of awards and recognitions. This firm has a strong reputation in the Atlanta market and is looking to add professionals with a drive to excel. Duties:

  • Support attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and editing real estate documents such as purchase agreements, leases, deeds, and contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence, perform title searches, and prepare title commitments and policies.
  • Oversee the organization and management of real estate transactions from start to finish.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, lenders, and other involved parties.
  • Research and analyze property records, zoning laws, and regulations.
  • Prepare closing documents, including settlement statements and closing binders.
  • Assist in resolving title issues and other legal matters as they arise.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation, both electronically and in hard copy.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal in a law firm environment.
  • Paralegal certification or a degree in Paralegal Studies is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of commercial real estate transactions, title insurance, and closing procedures.
  • Skilled at conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and handling due diligence.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
